How do I start or stop Netscape Accelerator?


Netscape Accelerator starts automatically every time you start your computer. You do not have to start this feature manually. However, there may be times when you might need to manually disable (or stop) this feature during your online session. For these situations, do the following:

To manually stop Netscape Accelerator
  1. Right-click on the Netscape icon located in the system tray at the right side of your taskbar.
  2. Click Stop Netscape Accelerator.
  3. The Netscape icon changes to disabled like this:

To manually start Netscape Accelerator
  1. Right-click on the Netscape icon located in the system tray at the right side of your taskbar.
  2. Click Start Netscape Accelerator.
  3. The Netscape icon changes to enabled like this:
