I get disconnected from the Internet after checking or sending email.

Many mail clients, including Outlook Express have the option to automatically disconnect after sending email.

To change this setting in Outlook Express:

1. go to Tools > Options, and then click on connections
2. make sure that Hang Up after Sending or Receiving Email is unchecked
3. click on Apply
